Privacy Policy

How GoodDaily handles your data.

Effective 2026. Applies to all current and future GoodDaily apps.

GoodDaily Labs Inc. (“GoodDaily,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds consumer wellness products. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you control. It covers data collected inside our iOS apps, website, emails, and support channels.

Our promises

  • We only collect the information needed to operate GoodDaily apps (account basics, anonymized diagnostics, and the content you choose to save).
  • All traffic between the apps and our servers uses HTTPS. Journals and focus logs are encrypted at rest.
  • Delete or export your data anytime from inside the apps or by emailing privacy@gooddaily.app.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we never use your content to train external advertising models.

Information we collect

  • Account basics: Name, email address, Apple ID identifiers, subscription receipts, and settings you configure.
  • Content you create: Conversation drafts, personal journals, and focus logs you choose to save or sync.
  • Usage data: Device type, language, app version, and anonymized diagnostics that help us fix crashes and measure performance.
  • Support interactions: Emails and attachments you send to our support team.

How we use your information

We rely on the data above to:

  • Provide and personalize app features, including syncing between devices.
  • Process purchases and manage App Store subscriptions.
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, critical product updates).
  • Diagnose bugs, protect against abuse, and keep the service secure.

Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We only share information with service providers that enable our products, such as Apple (billing), analytics providers, or cloud infrastructure partners. These processors act under written agreements and may only use your data to deliver the contracted service. We will disclose information if required by law or to respond to valid legal process.

Retention & deletion

Content you store stays encrypted at rest and is retained until you delete it from the apps or request removal. Basic account and billing data is retained for up to seven years to comply with tax and financial regulations. You can request deletion or export anytime from in-app settings or by emailing privacy@gooddaily.app.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Journals, focus logs, and saved drafts are encrypted at rest on our servers. Access is limited to vetted personnel who need it to operate the service. We continuously monitor for unauthorized activity and maintain written incident-response procedures.

Your rights & choices

You may:

  • Access, update, or delete content directly inside the apps.
  • Export your data in machine-readable format by contacting us.
  • Withdraw consent for optional analytics or marketing at any time.
  • Appeal decisions or raise privacy complaints via email.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger without verified parental consent. If you learn a child provided data, contact us so we can remove it.
